Pacific® Natural Foods’ Kitchen Creations Grand Prize Winner gets kitchen makeover

Kelly Manning wins with “Roasted Red Pepper Curry with Chicken and Eggplant” recipe

Tualatin, OR – Pacific Natural Foods teamed up with Neil Kelly Cabinets and Bosch Appliances to offer a kitchen makeover as part of the Kitchen Creations recipe competition the natural and organic food manufacturer launched late last year. The Grand Prize Winner, Kelly Manning of White River Junction, Vermont, competed against hundreds of entrants by using the Pacific Natural Foods Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup in her “Roasted Red Pepper and Curry with Chicken and Eggplant” recipe. The Grand Prize winner will receive an environmentally friendly kitchen makeover by Neil Kelly Cabinet and Bosch Appliances.

Manning, a cooking enthusiast, said she is excited to cook in her new kitchen.

“I love to cook and experiment with recipes for fun,” Manning noted. “It was a good challenge for me to come up with something new, especially using a Pacific Natural Foods’ product that I really enjoy.”

Encouraging people to prepare their meals with natural and organic products as well as to promote environmentally friendly living was the intention behind the Pacific Natural Foods’ Kitchen Creations recipe competition.

The Kitchen Creations contest also included two first place prize winners: Cathy Cromett of Portland, Ore., and Susan Shapiro of Boston, Mass. The first place award is a Bosch Concept Series Kitchen Machine. There were 30 second place winners who will receive a Bosch hand blender.
