Being one the largest flour producers in Russia, PAVA presented its vitamin and protein rich flour “Zhitnitsa” at Russian National Baking Conference. The event took place from the 5th till the 8th of April and brought together bakery and confectionary experts from Russia, Ukraine and Italy.
PAVA’s director for quality Natalia Ermakova presented a detailed report on the economic and technological advantages of “Zhitnitsa” flour. Ms Ermakova’s speech was part of “Medical and Preventive Bakery” seminar within the conference.
“Such events are very important at promoting non-traditional products on traditional markets. During the conference, over 20 manufacturers of bread and confectionary products became interested in “Zhitnitsa” flour. We will ship the samples of our products to them and will also conduct training sessions if necessary”, comments Natalia Ermakova.
Being made according to PAVA’s owns recipe “Zhitnitsa” is a unique product on the Russian flour market. It has bread-baking qualities of graded flour whilst preserving in full the vitamins, macro and microelements contained in the wheat grain. This product allows expanding the assortment range of bread and bakery products within “healthy diet” range. In particular, introduction of this flour allows launching high-margin production lines under “Fitness” or “Active Lifestyle” trademarks among others. However, most importantly, this is a great opportunity to increase profitability of the business as “Zhitnitsa” offers a competitive price and good yield.
