Pizzey's Introduces Healthy, Low-Net Carb Pizza

March 16, 2004 – Pizzey’s Milling (Angusville, Manitoba), a flaxseed ingredient supplier, introduced its healthy, flaxseed-based Low-Net Carb pizza crust technology to convention goers at the Natural Products Expo – West (March 4-6, Anaheim). The pizza crust uses up to 15% SelectGrâd™ “Ultra-Fine” whole-milled flaxseed, contributing 1,100-mg of healthy Omega-3s per serving. Pizzey’s SelectGrâd™ whole-milled flaxseed, which contains less-than 3.0% net carbs, was voted one of eight finalists for “Ingredient of the Year” at the NPE-West Expo.
