Plum Organics launches 30 kids' food products

Plum Kids line contains more than 30 organic options including pouch products for on-the-go breakfast.

Leading premium organic baby food brand, Plum Organics, announces they will be expanding into the organic kids snack category with the launch of their Plum Kids line. For six years, parents have relied on Plum Organics to nourish their babies with nutritious foods and will now be able to choose from a variety of organic lunchbox snacks designed for elementary school-age and beyond. The Plum Kids line will build upon the company's existing baby and toddler portfolio—making the company the first organic food brand to comprehensively address the nutritional needs of babies, toddlers and kids.

The Plum Kids line contains more than 30 organic options including new and innovative pouch products such as organic Greek Yogurt Mashups and Morning Mashups for on-the-go breakfast. With these new products, the company broadens their robust offering of squeezable purees, snack bars, and real fruit, veggie and dairy based snacks. With options for breakfast, lunch, and any time snacking, new items feature noteworthy ingredients including protein-rich Greek yogurt, ancient grains such as quinoa and millet, and superfoods like kale. All products are certified-organic by the USDA, and contain no artificial ingredients, trans fats or GMOs.

Greek Yogurt Mashups are a sweet ‘n’ tangy addition to any breakfast, lunchbox or after-school snack. Each BPA-free pouch is filled with creamy organic Greek yogurt and fruit and can be found in three kid-approved combinations: Cherry Vanilla, Orange Cream, and Strawberry Lemonade. All Greek Yogurt Mashups are sold in boxes of four single-serving pouches for a suggested retail price of $4.99.

Morning Mashups offer a ready to eat, morning must-have for any kid on the run. Each BPA-free pouch is filled with 100 percent whole grains including ancient grain Quinoa. Morning Mashups come in three breakfast friendly varieties: Raspberry Swirl, Maple Banana, and Oatmeal Raisin. All Morning Mashups are sold in boxes of four single-serving pouches for a suggested retail price of $4.99.

Crunch'ola are bite-sized clusters of crunchy nutrition made with four hearty whole grains including millet, quinoa, brown rice and oats. They are available in three varieties: Apple Snapster, Choco Chipster, and savory/sweet Peanutty Pretzel. All Crunch'ola snacks are sold in boxes of 5 single serving bags for a suggested retail price of $3.99.

Fruit & Veggie Shredz are real fruit and veggie snacks kids can twist, tie and twirl. They are made with organic fruits and veggies that are mashed up and shredded. Each pack offers a full serving of fruit, and is available in two fruit and veggie combinations (Rooty Blues and Super Apple) and two fruit-filled varieties (Berry'licious and Peach Peelz). All Shredz products are sold in boxes of five single serving packs for a suggested retail price of $3.99.

All Plum Kids products will be available in more than 6,000 stores nationwide beginning June 2012.
