The first VendorWorks presentation will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd at 10 a.m. SGTI® and OptiPure® will welcome John Rumberger, Ph.D., M.D., F.A.C.C. for his seminar entitled, “Metabolic Syndrome and Dietary Supplements–the Perspective of a Preventive Cardiologist.” Dr. Rumberger, a leading cardiologist and author of the recent book, The Way Diet, will highlight the therapeutic importance of a few targeted nutritional ingredients in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular and metabolic disease. The second VendorWorks presentation will occur on Tuesday, May 2nd at 4 p.m. SGTI® and KGK Synergize will discuss the correlation between research and revenue in a talk called, “Science and Natural Products: A Model for Market Success.” This discussion will emphasize how research is shaping the nutritional marketplace and highlight existing case studies that demonstrate how pre-clinical and clinical trials impact product success. Kristen Reynolds, Manager of Marketing and Sales for KGK Synergize, and Kenn Israel, Director of Marketing for SGTI®, will co-present this topic regarding a key force that drives product sales in our industry.
