TV Host Michelle Harris Discusses Health Issues with Presidential Candidate John Kerry

Michelle Harris, host of the health-oriented national television series “Alive & Well with Michelle Harris” recently had the opportunity to discuss health and wellness with Presidential candidate and Senator John Kerry. Michelle was invited to attend a small dinner party held at a private residence in Boca Raton, FL where Senator Kerry was the guest of honor. Michelle was anxious to discuss an issue very important to her- health and wellness.

When asked how her conversation went with the Presidential hopeful, Michelle commented “I was extremely impressed with Senator Kerry’s personal knowledge and interest in preventative health and wellness. He is obviously a very active person and lives a fit lifestyle and regularly enjoys cycling, jogging and other sports like snowboarding and windsurfing. He definitely understands that Americans need to take a much more pro-active role in preventative health measures and the ideas we discussed were very inspiring.”

During their conversation, the Presidential candidate expressed an interest in appearing on a future episode of Alive & Well to discuss health and wellness issues, including a possible taping of one of his windsurfing sessions. Harris commented “It’s important for all of us in the natural health industry to communicate with our political leaders about our needs and our concerns regarding the health and wellness of the American people. The main thing is to take an active role and communicate.”
