Wright Operational After Hurricane Rita

CROWLEY, La., September 28, 2005- The Wright Group would like to express our care and concern for all affected by Hurricane Rita. While many of our neighbors remain without power, we feel very fortunate to be operating at full production capacity.

“Wright is fully operational and ready to provide superior quality and complete customer care,” said President & CEO S.L. “Sam” Wright IV. “Even though our facility lost power during the storm’s landfall early Saturday morning, our back up power systems were immediately activated. Most importantly, our thoughts and prayers are with our neighbors along the Louisiana and Texas coasts who must recover and rebuild their lives in the wake of this disaster.”

The Wright Group’s Crowley facility, located in southwestern Louisiana and approximately 80 miles from where Rita made landfall, lost power early Saturday morning. Using back up generators, power was restored Saturday afternoon, and by Monday morning the facility was fully operational. Additionally, all essential systems, data storage and climate controls were unaffected by the storm.
