WASHINGTON, D.C., (July 31, 2007) – The Coalition to Preserve DSHEA proudly announced today the addition of XanGo, LLC to the Coalition’s growing list of members.
“We couldn’t be happier with XanGo’s commitment to preserving the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act and maintaining the availability and affordability of dietary supplements that improve the lives of millions of Americans,” said David Seckman, chief executive officer of the Coalition. “XanGo recognizes the need for long-term education of members of Congress and their staffs on the needs and benefits of our industry, especially since well over half of current members of the U.S. House and Senate were not in office during the passage of DSHEA in 1994.”
“XanGo is proud to be a member of the Coalition to Preserve DSHEA," said Debbie Blockinger, XanGo's senior manager of public affairs. "We believe there is important work to be done to safeguard the future of the industry. By joining a united industry front, we can ensure not only that the correct messages and appropriate actions are taken in Washington, D.C., but also that the entire natural products industry is benefited by the Coalition’s good work.”
