Familiar chains surround the Anaheim Convention Center-Disneyland Resort area. Downtown Disney and Anaheim Garden Walk, at South Clementine Street and Disney Way, offer entertainment, shopping and restaurants. Visit this Anaheim website to find venues that offer specials for Natural Products Expo West attendees.

A few attendee favorites a little farther away include:

  • Mother’s Market and Kitchen (5759 E. Santa Ana Canyon Road; 714.974.6667). In a 10- to 15-minute taxi ride, you can visit a local natural foods grocer and enjoy its deli offerings that include breakfast, sandwich, soup, salad and grill options.
  • Anaheim White House Restaurant (887 S. Anaheim Blvd.; 714.772.1381). This opulent steak house features northern Italian cuisine among fresco-style murals and baroque fabrics. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to the historic mansion. The extensive menu includes several meat, pasta and seafood entrees. The restaurant also highlights a health- conscious prix-fixe menu.
  • Au Lac (16563 Brookhurst St.; Fountain Valley; 714.418.0658). It just might be worth the 15-minute trip for the vegan living foods and cooked dishes served here. Entrees include Pineapple Fried Rice, Eggplant Hot Pot, several noodle bowls and soy meat alternatives.
  • Park Avenue (11200 Beach Blvd.; Stanton; 714.901.4400). Just 15 minutes from the Anaheim Convention Center, this restaurant has a garden on the grounds to contribute to its classic American dishes. The dinner menu includes 5-Spiced Baked Salmon and Crispy Half Jidori Chicken along with an extensive list of steaks and chops.
