MaryAnne Howland is dedicated to making the world a more just, equitable and inclusive planet on which to live.

A leader in inclusive marketing and branding communications aimed at creating equitable social impact, Howland works with CPG brands in the natural products industry to create culturally inclusive missions, which in turn help improve food systems and promote a regenerative economy.

For New Hope Network's Natural Products Business School, Howland hosted a session, "Diversity of America Defines the Food Industry," a preview of which is available here.

In addition, she created series of eight J.E.D.I. 3.0 workshops that are available at no cost to anyone who registers on the NPEV.com platform. Watch this preview of the first session, Brand bolding: Intentionality and the language of leadership.

As the president and CEO of Ibis Communications and the founder and CEO of Global Diversity Leadership Exchange,  Howland frequently speaks on J.E.D.I. issues—justice, equity, diversity and inclusion. As she continues the work she has done for years—covering the natural products industry for NewHope.com and Natural Foods Merchandiser; writing up earnings calls and other corporate news; and curating roundups of trends and information for the website—she is thrilled to be an official part of the New Hope team. (She doesn't mind having paid holidays and vacations again, though!) Victoria also compiled and edited newsletters, and served as interim content director for Delicious Living in 2016.

Before working as a freelancer, she spent 17 years in community newspapers in Longmont, Colorado, and St. Charles and Wheaton, Illinois. Victoria is a Colorado native and a graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver.
