Wilde Snacks brings a new cooking method and bold flavors to the bar category

After two years of product development and a launch at Expo West last year, Boulder startup Wilde Snacks is off and running. Its savory, shelf-stable baked meat bars contain lots of lean protein, minimal sugar and unique flavors, and they’ve found a home in numerous small, independent natural product stores as well as limited Whole Foods regions and a few large grocery chains.

In this video, Jason Wright, the company’s co-founder and CEO, offers up insight into the company’s distribution strategy and his own past missteps as an entrepreneur.
