OFRF's Bob Scowcroft reflects on 20 years of organic accomplishments

In 1990, Bob Scowcroft and two farmers founded the Organic Farming Research Foundation (OFRF). Twenty years later, the U.S. organic industry is reaping the benefits of OFRF’s work to get organic research institutionalized into the U.S. Department of Agriculture and to secure nearly $100 million in annual funding for organic research and education. Still, as Scowcroft told NewHope360.com’s Carlotta Mast during the OFRF’s 18th Annual Organic Harvest Benefit in San Francisco, the organic industry needs more.
