Whether loose-leaf, bagged or ready-to-drink, tea of all forms has been a staple category in natural retail stores for decades. According to the Tea Association of the U.S.A., tea can be found in almost 80 percent of all households, and in 2016, Americans consumed almost 84 billion servings, mostly made from black tea.
