Creative chefs and inspiring authors often make special appearances at Natural Products Expo West. Here are some of the people we've heard will be in Anaheim.

Celeb sightings & special appearances at Expo West 2013

The Spork Sisters will serve up something superspecial at the GO Veggie! (formerly known as Galazy Nutritional Foods) booth (4050). Learn about the rebrand and see the sisters each day. A cooking demo also will take place at 1:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The first 30 to show up for a cookbook signing at 2 p.m. each day will get a book and autograph.

The View’s Elizabeth Hasselbeck, The Amazing Race’s Phil Keoghan and personal trainer Gunnar Peterson will be at the Europa Sports Products booth (5211) to present their brands, answer questions and sign autographs. Hasselbeck will be there from 10:30 a.m. to noon and from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Friday. Keoghan will attend from 10 a.m. to noon and from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, with Peterson appearing between, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos of the Cooking Channel show Extra Virgin will be doing a cooking demo in the House Foods America, the tofu makers, booth (3864). Think Tuscan influence and sweet treats. See them at 2 p.m. Friday.

Vega will feature a couple special appearances. Brendan Brazier will answer questions and sign books from 11 a.m. to noon and from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and again from 11 a.m. to noon Sunday. Peggy Kotsopolous will conduct a Thrive Forward recipe demonstration and sign Must Have Been Something I Ate from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and again from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Biggest Loser nutritionist Rachel Beller will sign her new book Eat to Lose, Eat to Win from 11:30 to 12:30 Friday in the Salba Smart booth.

NeoCell brand ambassador and Judo Olympic Gold Medalist Kayla Harrison will be greeting fans and providing insight on The Many Faces of Recovery from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. 

Frankie Boyer Health Talk Radio will broadcast live (and doing some taping) from the Nature’s Sources booth (1016) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

Emmanuelle Chriqui will be at the Mineral Fusion booth from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Chriqui appears in the HBO series Entourage.

Sports legends will fill the Rushmore Essentials’ booth (1273) Friday and Saturday for the launch of its Revive and Revitalize vitality drinks. Luc Robitaille,  a NHL Hall of Fame hockey player, will be there from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday; James Worthy, a NBA Hall of Fame basketball player, will appear from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday; Chuck Finley, a five-time Major League Baseball All-Star, will be present from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday; and Eric Dickerson, a NFL Hall of Fame football player, will take on fans from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.  

Judita Wignall, author of Going Raw and Raw & Simple will sign books from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Vitamix booth.

Oxylent will play host to three special guests from noon to 3 p.m. each day in booth 902. The company will have: Deborah Enos, The One-Minute Wellness Coach and author of Weight a Minute, Transform Your Health in 60 Seconds a Day on Friday; Stefan Pinto, creator of the C-Diet, author of Fat to Fit, and model for The High Intensity Fitness Revolution for Menon Saturday; and Russ Marchewka, pro volleyball player and author ofThe Winter Wellness Diet on Sunday.

Carlson Labs will feature Dr. Jorn Dyerberg, a leading omega-3 researcher, Friday, March 8th:  from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday; and Chris Johnson, life coach, fitness expert and author, from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
