European Playbook Open to Retailers

Retailers hungry to learn the latest success strategies of European marketers will find plenty of ideas at the fourth Natural Products Expo Europe June 4-5 in Amsterdam.

Retailers will be able to select new products from the global manufacturing market, find distributor sources, examine market trends and opportunities, and learn about successful promotional strategies.

The show brings together decision makers from all sectors of the industry and from all over the world—people from 71 countries attended last year. It will be held at the RAI International Exhibition and Congress Centre.

"Many of Europe's top independent and mass market chains will be in Amsterdam to view thousands of new natural foods, supplements and personal care products from more than 20 countries," said Michael Westcott, Expo Europe's director.

This year the six finished product pavilions at the show are Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements; Bodycare and Well-being; Functional Food; and Natural Living, which includes natural and organic food. Show floor exhibits will help buyers identify opportunities in retailing, marketing and sourcing finished products.

The European Federation of Associations of Health Products Manufacturers is the show's main sponsor. Along with New Hope Natural Media, the show's producer, EHPM will provide a free education program that will focus on in-depth market and regulatory knowledge, product positioning strategies and global contacts for business expansion.

New to the show this year is Supply Expo, a show within the show dedicated to suppliers of raw materials, ingredients, formulas and technologies.
