Investors' Circle, a group that so far has invested more than $100 million in "entrepreneurial companies that enhance bioregional, cultural and economic health and diversity," will host a national conference Nov. 1-3 in Boston. "Patient Capital for a Sustainable Future" will feature a venture fair with more than 30 companies as well as speakers and panels. In the food track, panelists will discuss food market trends and explore the question, "Is local the new organic?" There also will be tracks in renewable energy, health, media, mission-related investing and community development.
