Inc. magazine recently released its annual Inc. 5000, the business publication's list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

Every year the list inspires as it offers a glimpse at American trends and innovations. Natural and organic businesses know well one trend the magazine highlights this year: Going green. The fast-casual restaurant chain Protein Bar is among the sustainable businesses it featured. Healthy fast food seems to pop up several times on the Inc. 5000.
