One of the hottest superfruits may become super- affordable (or at least not as outrageously expensive) thanks to a new production line. Israel-based Hefestus developed a speedy method to separate the seeds from the peel using water and sound wave technology. The line then wraps the seeds in packaging for long-lasting shelf life. The development could lead to more affordable products containing the antioxidant-packed fruit and its juice.
