Credit Quinn Popcorn’s rocket ride of success (the company has already snagged great press in Delicious Living, Natural Foods Merchandiser, O: The Oprah Magazine, Huffington Post, Washington Post, andmore) to the fact that Quinn is defining a new wave of food manufacturing by pioneering chemical-free microwave bags and non-GMO popcorn. We love that cofounders Kristy and Coulter Lewis, young entrepreneurs with no food industry background, took a ubiquitous and grossly adulterated product (conventional microwave popcorn) and reinvented it—really, restored it—as a healthful snack.

Although they don’t consider themselves activists, the Lewises’ tenacious attitude keeps them going through numerous obstacles as they insist on clean ingredients and form partnerships with other like-minded health food companies. And the products? Delicious, with five flavors (two new), plus killer package design and next-gen instructional graphics. For a simple yet profound mission to clean up food one compostable bag at a time, Quinn Popcorn represents the next great hope for our broken food systems.
