D' Naturals, maker of Now Cow protein bars, has changed its name to Now Cow, debuted new packaging, and unveiled a new high-protein dairy-free cookie and two new bar flavors. Started in 2015 by then 18-year-old Daniel Katz, the company focuses on low-sugar, plant-based protein products. The new No Cow Cookies deliver at least 12 grams of plant-based protein per cookie with only 1 gram of sugar. Cookie flavors include Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate and Snickerdoodle. New bar flavors, which deliver at least 20 grams of dairy-free protein with only 1 gram of sugar, are Carrot Cake and Chunky Peanut Butter. 

Protein Snack Packs are the new shelf-stable meat and cheese snack cups from Chef's Cut Real Jerky Co. In two flavors, Teriyaki & Pepper Jack Cheese and Original Recipe & Cheddar Cheese, these protein snacks combine Chef's Cut tender jerky with dehydrated crispy cheese. They have 13 to 14 grams of protein and are low in fat and carbs. 

Après is a new vegan post-workout shake with plant proteins (pea, chia, cacao and hemp), virgin coconut oil and hydrating coconut water. It's sold online and at select fitness studios. "It's our belief that modern wellness consumers, especially women, have been all but overlooked from a replenishment point-of-view," said cofounder and CEO Sonny McCracken. 

Good gut health means tight intestinal junctions. When intestinal tract junctions loosen, substances can leak into the bloodstream—resulting in bloating, gas, cramps and food sensitivities. Terra Origin's new Healthy Gut formula provides gastrointestinal support with ingredients that include Sustamine L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine. It comes in a mint flavor in a 30-serving container.

Zupa Noma announced via press release that Jen Berliner has been named president, promoted from her previous role as VP of marketing for the brand. In this role, she will continue to expand and grow the Zupa Noma team and further drive cross-channel category innovation. 

To support the growth of good bacteria in a baby's tummy, Culturelle introduced Culturelle Baby, a line of probiotic products specifically formulated for babies 0 to 24 months. Culturelle Baby products contain Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, the most clinically studied probiotic strain in infants, and are free of GMOs, gluten, dairy and dyes. Amy's Kitchen has a new global president and new director of domestic sales. Xavier Unkovic is the new global president, and brings to the job an understanding of how to grow a values-driven business, as a former executive of family-owned Mars Inc. Justin Neal has been promoted to lead Amy's nationwide sales force as director of domestic sales.

Flavorful, pasture-raised Pekin duck is the star of two new bone broth varieties from Pacific Foods: Organic Duck and Organic Poultry. Duck Bone Broth has a savory, full-bodied flavor that is a staple component in French and Asian cuisine. Poultry Bone Broth is a rich blend of chicken, turkey and duck that creates a well-rounded flavor profile that works well in virtually any recipe.

Naughty Noah’s has launched a line of instant, Vietnamese-style pho noodles, designed to provide a tastier, healthier alternative to conventional instant noodle products. The company’s gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO single-serving dishes are now available for online purchase. They come in three of a planned six-flavor line. Naughty Noah’s preservative-free, all-natural ingredients include rice noodles, spices, and omega-rich coconut or avocado oil. The colorfully packaged products come in dishwasher-safe, reusable, recyclable bowls, each complete with an individually wrapped selection of noodles, spices and oil.

Steviva Brands, a pioneer in pure, all-natural, and organic alternative sweeteners, announced the launch of MonkJuice,100 percent natural monk fruit juice concentrate that is 15 to 20 times sweeter than sugar and contains zero calories. In the United States, Steviva Brands’ MonkJuice monk fruit juice concentrate is GRAS by Scientific Procedures, and can be used in all food and beverage products at any use level.

Organic spices and seasonings company Red Monkey Foods hired Scott Bolonda as its chief executive officer to oversee day-to-day operations, including expansion of U.S. distribution with leading food, mass, club, online and natural food retail customers. Bolonda is a consumer food industry veteran who brings more than 25 years of executive experience with leading global food companies, including more than 15 years at McCormick.

Campbell Soup Company has appointed Monica Diaz chief diversity and inclusion officer to create new programs and enhance existing ones that foster an inclusive culture and diverse workforce. Diaz joins Campbell from ESPN, part of The Walt Disney Company, where she was vice president of diversity, inclusion and wellness.

Louisville, Kentucky-based Extract Wellness announced via press release the addition of 100 percent THC-free hemp extract drops to its line of all-natural Medela branded hemp extract products. Medela 100 percent THC Free Hemp Extract Drops come in both Mint and Cinnamon flavors and are 100 percent chemical and preservative free. Manufactured in Louisville, only hand-harvested Kentucky hemp is used in the supercritical CO2 fluid extraction process.

Compound Solutions Inc. has signed a six-year exclusive global agreement with Phoinix Holdings LLC to bring the pump and performance ingredient VASO6 to the market. VASO6 is a natural and patented ingredient for nitric oxide production and blood flow. It is derived from green tea.
