5 natural companies that made waves on Shark Tank last year

You don’t always have to land a deal to score big on ABC's "Shark Tank." These natural companies made waves in 2018, whether they walked away with cash or not.

Fresh Bellies

A savory product for palate training, Fresh Bellies teaches kids to love veggies from a young age. The products include savory notes like garlic and thyme, and no more than seven ingredients are included in the purees. They’re also USDA Organic, preservative-free and non-GMO. Though the company raised $1.8 million through the Chobani Incubator, they left with only well wishes from the sharks.

Yumble

Kids are front and center for this meal delivery service, which offers healthier spins on foods kids love using organic ingredients and recipes featuring gluten-, egg- and dairy-free profiles. Yumble scored $500,000 from shark Bethenny Frankel in exchange for 6 percent of the company.

Cave Shake

Loaded with MCTs and macros, Cave Shakes are keto, paleo, vegan, low-carb, gluten-free, no-sugar-added, and use no more than six ingredients. They grabbed the attention of shark Charles Barkley, who invested $250,000 for 10 percent of the company.

Mother Beverage

Mother Beverage starts with raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar and adds organic fruits, berries and herbs for a refreshing beverage. Not all the sharks loved the taste, but they also couldn’t deny the rising demand for ACV. Ultimately, Rohan Oza invested $400,000 for 25 percent equity.

boom.boom

boom.boom nasal inhalers are a new kind of energy supplement, harnessing the power of essential oils and aromatherapy for increased focus, better mood and easier breathing. Though the company fielded offers from Robert Herjavec, they decided to walk away from a deal.
