Richa Gupta
President, Good Food For Good

Good Food For Good was founded by Richa Gupta, a marketer and mother of a 10 year old girl.

As a working mother, Richa found it very challenging to find packaged food and prepared shortcuts that met her expectations for taste and ingredient quality. Frustrated with being forced to compromise quality for convenience, Richa launched Good Food For Good to make it easy for everyone to eat well and do good.

Inspired by TOMS Shoes, Richa adopted the Buy One Feed One model for her food business. Richa is proud to have made a positive difference in over ¼ million meals and is actively working on reaching her goal of feeding 1 million people by 2020.

Angela McElwee 117x132.jpg

Angela McElwee
President & CEO, Gaia Herbs

With 27 years of experience in the natural products industry, Angela McElwee has had the opportunity to build structure, vision, and teams at many levels – as a retailer, board member, community member, and as the leader of a purpose-driven vertically integrated organization. As the President and CEO of Gaia Herbs, she has stewarded growth, strategy, and the building of a world-class team for North America’s top herbal supplement brand. Deeply committed to purpose-centric work, her leadership has enabled Gaia Herbs to explore what it means to be a business that measures success by a new set of standards, considering people and planet as valued stakeholders, and using success indicators going beyond profitability. In that spirit, Angela led the work to certify Gaia Herbs as a Living Wage Employer in 2016, and as a Certified B Corporation® in 2018.

Angela’s tenure has seen the natural products legacy brand through tremendous growth, innovation, and industry change, all while remaining true to its purpose of connecting plants and people to create healing. She is a passionate advocate for using business as a vehicle to promote positive change and brings that same ethos to her work as a Founding Board Member for Naturally Austin, a nonprofit working to nurture impact businesses in Central Texas, and to her volunteer work with other social impact focused organizations.

Her love affair with the natural products industry began when she was 16 years old working in the supplement aisles of her local health food store. A vegetarian and organic gardener, Angela has been writing poetry for 30 years, and considers herself a lifelong student. When not traveling, burying her nose in a book, or getting her hands in the dirt, Angela can be found at home in the Austin Hill Country of Texas with her husband and their four daughters.
