Rozelyn DeSagun, www.thefrugalistamom.com: The flavors are authentic and amazing – tropical paradise in a bar.
Michelle Smith, thewholesmiths.com: I love anything that makes it easier to get fresh vegetables on the table, these are also a great way to get kids to eat their veggies.
Hayley Ryczek, healthstartsinthekitchen.com: I’m kind of obsessed with mini-tacos, but I’ve hated that there wasn’t a blue corn option (blue corn is the best way to avoid GMOs since they have not engineered the seeds and they do not cross pollinate). These released just a few days before the expo and I can’t wait to use them!
glutenfreephilly.com: The Original version of this skinless popcorn, one of three flavors from a New York-based upstart, reminds me of a less cloyingly sweet Sugar Smacks cereal made with corn instead of wheat. The skin on the corn kernels are peeled before being pressure popped, so there's nothing to get stuck between your teeth. A cup serving size is just 32 calories, but you'll want more - it's addicting. Each serving has 4 grams of fiber, zero grams of fat and just 3 grams of sugar.
tricias-list.com: Our Little Rebellion (aka Popcorners) are a great snack full of flavor to replace those other chips out there.
Cindy Gordon, vegetarianmamma.com: Laird Superfood showcased their dairy-free creamer and coffee which is perfect for home and for travel.
Julianne Hall, hashtagvegan.com: I realized that this organic Maple Cream just had to be in my top five because not a day has gone by since the expo where I haven't gushed about this insanely delicious product to numerous people.
Cindy Gordon, vegetarianmamma.com: Simple Mills shared their gluten-free + vegan frosting! The taste was delicious and I love the ease of this product!
Cindy Gordon, vegetarianmamma.com: Enjoy Life Foods showcased some new flavors of Plentils and The Thai Chili Lime flavor was amazing!
Corinne Schmitt, wondermomwannabe.com: They make cloth diapering seem easy and convenient—a miraculous feat! Add to that the super adorable designs and this was an easy choice for one of my favorites.
Corinne Schmitt, wondermomwannabe.com: The Goodness Grainless Dark Chocolate Mint Chip Cookies are among the best cookies I’ve ever had, and they are completely free of wheat, peanut, tree nuts, soy, dairy, GMOs and refined sugar.
Corinne Schmitt, wondermomwannabe.com: Aside from the superhero designs (that speak to my personal obsession), the design of the inner mechanism is genius since it solves the problem of most other shakers that become useless once you lose the ball.
Corinne Schmitt, wondermomwannabe.com: Finally, a sponge that doesn’t breed bacteria! With the added features of magically wiping away grease and a walnut scrubber that’s won’t scratch nonstick surfaces, this sponge has revolutionized cleaning in the kitchen.
Carolina King, mamainstincts.com: One of my favorite discoveries at Expo East because I never knew a frozen treat could be so tasty and packed with protein. This is great for those that need extra protein in their diets and the best part is that any kid would eat it thinking it’s ice cream.
Carolina King, mamainstincts.com: Their main product is a hybrid diaper that’s perfect for those that want to cloth diaper but like the convenience of disposable diapers. I was one of those moms on the fence about cloth diapering and after learning about Charlie Banana I came home and made the switch.
Carolina King, mamainstincts.com: Usually all the fun looking snacks are not healthy so that’s why I loved Bitsy’s Brainfood because they are making healthy organic snacks appealing to kids. But what surprised me the most is that all their snacks were actually very tasty, even for an adult!
Erica Agran, ericafinds.com: Zupa Noma makes convenient, single-serve chilled vegetable soups with organic vegetables, superfoods and fresh herbs in six varieties. The soups are low in sugar and calories and are high in fiber (and taste!)
feedingbig.com: I am blown away by the product, the price and the fact that it is no waste.
feedingbig.com: Clean eating at its finest (and most tasty).
feedingbig.com: We forget the skin is the largest organ; we need to be careful of what we put on it as well as in us.
glutenfreephilly.com: With The Curious Creamery's new make-your-own ice cream, no machine is needed. The gluten-free, neutral base can be used to customize your flavor. All that's needed is a hand mixer or stand mixer, freezer, and liquid (tea, juice or milk) or fruit puree or yogurt of your choice. The prep takes less than five minutes, followed by freezing time. I sampled a yummy pumpkin flavor that's perfect for fall.
Erica Dermer, celiacandthebeast.com: These do not break when folded and they taste like a genuine flour tortilla. You must run to any store that stocks these vegan, gluten-free tortillas. They're also free from nuts and soy and certified CSA gluten-free.
Cindy Gordon, vegetarianmamma.com: House Foods introduced a new Tofu Stick- YUMM! Go Umami will be a game changer in this vegetarian’s life!
Erica Dermer, celiacandthebeast.com: These are all about the flavor of apple maple breakfast sausages without any of the pork. They're free from the top allergens, certified gluten free, organic, and non-GMO project verified.
Erica Dermer, celiacandthebeast.com: This certified gluten-free bread is also certified paleo. Unlike other paleo breads, this one isn't too egg-heavy in flavor, not too dense, and pretty tasty for a bread free from grains. It's also free from dairy and soy.
Erica Agran, ericafinds.com: Noyah makes edible lip balm for babies and beautiful lipsticks for grown ups, too. The all-natural lipsticks are made with ingredients like Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin E.
Erica Agran, ericafinds.com: This amazing long-brew beverage made of ginger and ginseng is the base of many traditional Chinese Medicine remedies. It comes in three delicious flavors and tastes amazing!
Erica Agran, ericafinds.com: Forager Project makes the first cashew based dairy free yogurt in five flavors. It’s creamy and delicious.
Carolina King, mamainstincts.com: Who doesn’t love hummus? But what I loved about Lilly’s Hummus is that they made snack size containers that you can easily carry in a small bag. They have a variety of flavors, which all taste great, and it’s perfect to satisfy your hunger between meals.
feedingbig.com: Immune system support is the best way to keep your body healthy.
Gina Badalaty, embracingimperfect.com: This affordable self-cleaning fish tank allows you to grow hydroponic plants as you tend to your betta fish while feeding your plants. This is great to give as a gift or for classrooms.
Gina Badalaty, embracingimperfect.com: Full of fiber, low in sugar and certified organic, these healthy (and vegan) treats were gone in minutes after my kids found the bags.
Gina Badalaty, embracingimperfect.com: This award winning product makes your coffee healthier, instant for travel and dairy free, plus its full of energy to get you started.
Gina Badalaty, embracingimperfect.com: Wildbrine Probiotic Salsa Rojo and Fermented Salsa Verde combine good gut health with a delicious spicy kick from one of my favorite brands.
Grace Gershuny, organic-revolutionary.com: A unique product collected from birch trees here in Vermont—great flavors.
Gina Badalaty, embracingimperfect.com: I always use coconut oil and Barlean’s new product is completely flavorless and allows you to cook at a higher heat, making it perfect for my family.
Carolina King, mamainstincts.com: I’ve never seen paper thin snacks before and was very intrigued by these. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious they taste and the best part is that they only use 2 ingredients on each bag.
tricias-list.com: Illy has their coffee making down to distinct science; Listening to them describe their dedication to the coffee making process just shows how much they love their products.
Hayley Ryczek, healthstartsinthekitchen.com: These vegan cheeses from Miyoko’s Creamery were simply amazing. I’m a cheese freak, so if a vegan cheese gets my rave reviews, it’s gotta be really, really good.
Grace Gershuny, organic-revolutionary.com: Promoting the GOTS label and Fair Trade to boot—they get my vote.
Grace Gershuny, organic-revolutionary.com: Champions of organic integrity – anyone can take trainings to help them understand the regs.
Grace Gershuny, organic-revolutionary.com: We must support organic heirloom seed producers. Can’t wait to plant some.
Hayley Ryczek, healthstartsinthekitchen.com: Hands down these are one of the most delicious snacks – EVER. If you like salty-sweet and pork fat, these are the ticket.
Sara LaFountain, cookwith5kids.com: Not only are the nuts they sell delicious and fresh, they are giving jobs to the poor farming communities in Mozambique.
Rachel Ramey, titus2homemaker.com: Nudtrition turns supplement packaging on its head, discarding the tumble of round bottles for space-saving square ones that easily stack.
Jess Baumgardner, healthcoachphilly.com: I’ve been trying to get into a daily collagen habit. Or at least more than what I’m currently doing (which is nothing). Collagen is beneficial for joint health, hair, skin, nails and bone health. It’s the most abundant protein in the body and key for all of your connective tissues. To be honest though—it kind of scares me a little bit because I want to ensure it is well-sourced. Enter Vital Proteins—with a beautiful product, package and brand—I’m sold!
feedingbig.com: Homeopathic medicine is a more natural way to care for your body.
Jess Baumgardner, healthcoachphilly.com: Love me some coconut water that actually tastes like coconut. All of the uber-processed and pasteurized brands out there are devoid of any value. This Brazilian goodness is delicious and super-nutritious.
Rozelyn DeSagun, www.thefrugalistamom.com: Full of flavor and healthy ingredients, it’s hard to believe that it doesn’t contain the top eight food allergens.
Erica Dermer, celiacandthebeast.com: Their chocolate chip cookies have been blowing minds right and left since they launched several years ago. Now they have followed up with several new varieties of their paleo-friendly, vegan, gluten-free cookie dough: double chocolate chip, ginger snap and lemon zest.
Jess Baumgardner, healthcoachphilly.com: OMG. VEGAN chocolate that is sweetened with coconut nectar. DYING. It is incredibly hard to find chocolate that is made without cow-milk and cane sugar. They’ve done it! And they have so many amazing flavors but Salted Caramel was my favorite.
Jess Baumgardner, healthcoachphilly.com: I have been struggling to find a good “fish oil” and this one is completely plant-based, a spray (which is amazing) and tastes nothing like fish or algae. Cut out the middle man (Mr. Fish) and get your omega straight from the algae source.
Jules Shepard, gfjules.com: Animal crackers in the cutest of shapes (they even have a starfish & dinosaurs!), that actually taste like … animal crackers, but are made without gluten, dairy or preservatives. Certified gluten-free and non-GMO.
Jules Shepard, gfjules.com: This refreshing drink does more than satisfy your thirst: organic aloe to detoxify, stimulate the growth of good gut bacteria, enhance immunity and fight inflammation; electrolytes and vitamins to restore your body; and delicious fruit flavors to make it go down easy. I couldn’t get enough of the Piñamint flavor, but others in my group thought the Lychee & White Grape flavor was irresistible.
Jules Shepard, gfjules.com: If you're a Reese's or Almond Joy fan, but crave a clean, vegan label, these modern candy bars will take the guilt out of your sweet tooth. Raw, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan and ethically sourced, plus made using no additives or preservatives.
Julianne Hall, hashtagvegan.com: I'm a longtime fan of Emmy's Organics but their Coconut Vanilla Macaroons took the cake for me this expo; sweet, filling, and of course, delicious.
Jules Shepard, gfjules.com: What started as an Austin food truck is now a welcome addition to the gluten-free, paleo, veggie burger freezer case. Sprouted and alkalized, GoodSeed burgers are full of high protein, nutritious ingredients like hemp, pumpkin, sunflower and chia seeds, millet, lentils, pulses, beets and carrots. Flavors span an incredible range from Curried Sweet Potato to Wild Mushroom Cauliflower. Vegan, soy-free, non-GMO, and no added sugars.
Jules Shepard, gfjules.com: Follow Your Heart has long been the cheese and mayo champion of vegans, but the introduction of hickory-smoked Gouda into their family of dairy-free cheeses is really something to cheer for. These firm cheese slices taste and smell like the Gouda you remember, all while being made from non-GMO, vegan, soy-free, gluten-free ingredients.
Julianne Hall, hashtagvegan.com: It was hard to choose between all of Miyoko's superior products but the vegan mozzarella, which they sampled as a grilled cheese, blew me away. (I may have snuck in a second or third sample...)
Erica Agran, ericafinds.com: These unique, Asian flavored soups and bone broths taste amazing and come in reusable “heat and sip” soup cups.
glutenfreephilly.com: The creator of Krave jerky is behind this new line of premium snackable marshmallows. The treats are made with organic sugar and all natural ingredients, and range from 70-90 calories per serving. Smashmallow bites come in seven flavors, including Cinnamon Churro, Strawberries & Cream, Espresso Bean, Mint Chocolate Chip, Toasted Coconut Pineapple, Meyer Lemon Chia Seed and Root Beer Float.
Julianne Hall, hashtagvegan.com: I almost walked right by this booth but I am so glad I didn't; Ken the owner is a sweetheart and this organic flavored coconut oil is something I have used every day since. (Also available are lemon, peppermint and Vitamin E infused oils!)
glutenfreephilly.com: This Arizona mini-chain of restaurants has begun to expand distribution of its delicious gluten-free tamales east of the Mississippi River, though they can also be ordered online. They are super easy to make and taste great. There are several vegetarian and vegan varieties, and well as dessert and breakfast versions.
Jess Baumgardner, healthcoachphilly.com: There are so many wonderful, beneficial adaptogenic herbs that can help to soothe your adrenals and help you to manage stress. But if you are tired of taking another supplement—try this! It’s a cold tea with some rhodiola and holy basil (your new adrenal friends), filtered water and a few additional goodies like cinnamon, ginger and clove. No crap in this product!
Wendy Cray Kaufman, abcsandgardenpeas.com: Enjoy all the benefits of bone broth without all the cooking! This paleo-friendly powder simply combines with water – and the apple cinnamon flavor is perfect to heat with mulling spices.
Wendy Cray Kaufman, abcsandgardenpeas.com: Wildway nut- and seed-based instant hot cereal has a hearty texture that is unlike any oatmeal packet you’ve ever had, and it is free from added sugar or sweeteners, dairy, gluten and grains (and still tastes great.) Perfect for building beautiful Insta-worthy bowls or simply eating on the run.
Michelle Smith, thewholesmiths.com: I love being able to have an almond milk available that has such clean ingredients! The taste and texture is spot on and their Unsweetened version is Whole30 compliant.
tricias-list.com: Brianna's dressings are simply amazing and delicious dressing that are sure to dazzle any salad you may want.
Wendy Cray Kaufman, abcsandgardenpeas.com: The cold brew game at this year’s Expo East was strong, but the top spot goes to Secret Squirrel’s Caffe Latte. Its unbelievably smooth, never-bitter flavor could be the secret to success for those looking to cut back on sugar, like me.
Julianne Hall, hashtagvegan.com: These hummus pods are so innovative yet so simple; a must-have in any vegetarian's freezer!
Rachel Ramey, titus2homemaker.com: Bonafide Provisions is making real, nourishing bone broth available for those who are too sick to prepare it themselves.
Corinne Schmitt, wondermomwannabe.com: This frozen yogurt tastes better than any other frozen treat I’ve ever had! And if the delicious taste wasn’t enough, they packed in 20 grams of protein and a bunch of probiotics and left out everything we don’t want in our food—artificial ingredients, trans fat and GMO ingredients.
Grace Gershuny, organic-revolutionary.com: I’m a sucker for all things Jamaican – these products are the real deal. Hope these guys go organic soon.

Cindy Gordon, vegetarianmamma.com: These shakes are vegan and gluten free! Think McDonald's Vanilla Shake and Wendy's Chocolate Frosty.
glutenfreephilly.com: This Montreal-based start-up’s certified gluten-free pizza took center stage. The hand-tossed, stone-baked frozen pizzas have a crisp, tasty crust. Alas, these are only available in Quebec at the moment but the company is seeking U.S. distribution.
