Brands get innovative with ghee at Natural Products Expo East

Ghee has been around since ancient times, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for creativity and adaptation when it comes to this shelf-stable, clarified butter.

Whether through different flavor profiles, convenient packaging, the addition of botanical ingredients—thought to be rendered more bioavailable when infused into fats—or by combining ghee with other high smoke point oils to create new culinary applications, brands made a strong showing of noteworthy ghee-based products at this year’s Natural Products Expo East.
