Expo West Pitch Slam: Who will be the playmaker?

The draft is over and 15 top emerging brands have been chosen to compete in the 2024 Natural Products Expo West Pitch Slam.

The big game begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in Grand Ballroom F at the Marriott. Get your seats early, as this perennial favorite fills up quickly—and audience participation is vital!

Pitch Slam will start with each brand's founder showing off their best plays to the panel of judges in just three minutes. However, the judges won't have a chance to ask questions or be interrupted by the buzzer.

When the first period is over (yeah, I'm losing the basketball analogy a bit), the judges will deliberate and pick their five finalists.

Play will resume with a lightning round: The judges will toss questions at the players, who will have to catch the ball and make their shots.

While the judges are making their final decisions, audience members will vote for their favorites. The champions will be crowned. The winning brand receives a free booth at Expo West 2025 and more than $30,000 in New Hope Network services.
