Hall of Legends honoree Margaret Wittenberg was among the first employees at Whole Foods Market after it began in Austin, Texas in 1980. Now the company's vice president of quality standards, Wittenberg has been a champion for causes like organic agriculture, sustainable seafood and farm animal welfare. Wittenberg speaks to the importance of sustainability and the return to whole foods as the building blocks of healthy eating.
