Natural Products Expo West 2004

At Natural Products Expo West 2004 in Anaheim, Calif., a record-breaking 36,000-plus attendees from 86 countries navigated the show floor?s 2,500 exhibitors. More than 13,000 retailer-buyers did business at Expo—an increase of 18 percent over the 2003 show.

Actress Jane Seymour and activist Julia Butterfly Hill attracted crowds to the keynote and opening sessions.

At the Store of the Future, independent retailer Jerry Christner of Northern Nutrition in Shipshewana, Ind., placed the highest amount of product orders and won the Order Award Program contest. He received airline tickets and a $2,000 check for his store from Sandy Voss, director of trade show operations.
