Back by popular demand this year is the Women in Naturals networking event on Friday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at the Anaheim Hilton’s Sunset Deck. As the natural products marketplace continues to grow, so does the need for a professional community of women in business. Take this opportunity to tell other women within the natural and organic products industry about your business and learn about up-and-coming products and retailers. This event provides a great setting to hunt for jobs, form mentorships and seek business opportunities.

We invited Temra Costa, sustainable-foodand farming advocate and author of Farmer Jane (Gibbs Smith, 2010), to speak about women’s roles in agriculture not only on the farm, but also at the state and ground levels. For her book, Costa interviewed more than 30 women about their efforts to change the food system through education, commerce and policy. Costa will also sign copies of her book, which will be free for the first 400 event attendees.

Event sponsor MyChelle Dermaceuticals, a Louisville, Colo.-based personal care company, will offer free facials during the session. Enjoy wine and appetizers while being pampered and getting to know other women in the natural products industry.
