Delicious Living Magazine announces 2012 Supplement Award Winners

Award highlights supplement makers for purity, innovation, and efficacy.

BOULDER, Colo. - Delicious Living magazine, a trusted health and wellness resource for more than 25 years, announces the winners of its first annual Supplement Awards. 

Delicious Living initiated the awards to educate consumers—who are increasingly interested in nutritional approaches to better individual health—about dietary supplements that truly stand out in terms of cutting-edge, research-backed ingredients; purity; and innovative formulations.

“We are thrilled to highlight some of our favorite products from a wide variety of companies, including American Health, Bluebonnet, Country Life, Garden of Life, MegaFood, Natural Factors, Natural Vitality, New Chapter, Nordic Naturals, Now Foods, and Wakunaga” said Susan Enfield, senior editor of Delicious Living.

To determine the winners, Delicious Living’s editorial team assessed products and companies that exhibited at Natural Products Expo East and/or West, factoring in research-backed ingredients, certifications, efficacy, uniqueness, industry longevity, and sustainable business practices, as well as feedback from medical experts, natural retailers, and readers. Winners were named in 32 categories, for a total of 96 awards, including 64 honorable mentions.
