A striking result from NBJ surveys came from consumer perception on health. Core supplement users overwhelmingly indicated that, to varying degrees, they view food as nutrition and not as primarily a means of enjoyment, whereas the general consumer population viewed food equally as a primary means of enjoyment compared to a primary nutrition source.
What is interesting is when you compare this answer to a question we asked later.
