Growing consumer interest in immune-support supplements helped boost vitamin C sales last year, but perhaps the biggest boon for the supplement stalwart came from the introduction of Fast-C, a new premium vitamin C made by Scientific Food Solutions LLC. Nutrition Business Journal’s Carlotta Mast spoke to the company’s president, Gretchen Reece, at the 2010 NBJ Summit about what sets Fast-C apart from other vitamin C products and why her company conducted four clinical trials to support the new offering.
