Ponce de Leon searched for the elusive Fountain of Youth 500 years ago. 5,000 years ago Chinese emperors and dynasties also sought immortality. And why not? Life is so, so good: can’t we just keep it going? The answer, alas, is no. At least not yet. But if we can’t extend our lifespan, we can at least expand our healthspan—extend the number of years where we feel all full of piss and vinegar. This emerging supplements category is going after the healthy aging set, and there are some interesting entrants. Check out five that caught our attention.
