Eric Klingenberg is the materials science lead for the Mars Advanced Research Institute. His current projects include research and development into sustainable bio-based compostable packaging. His areas of expertise include new product development, scale-up and manufacturing support. He has more than 25 years of experience in the development, scale-up and commercialization of new materials.
Klingenberg also serves as a technical expert on the US Plastic Pact Compostable sub-team and is technical advisor for the Center for Hierarchical Materials Design, a consortium of national labs and universities that are developing and expanding the use of data and computation tools to accelerate advanced materials design.
