Fuel sales with these hot products trends from UNFI

With just a little over a week until the start of Natural Products Expo West, retailers are likely compiling their list of product trends that they want to check out on the busy show floor. With more than 2,200 companies exhibiting at this year’s Expo West, the number of new products—and new trends—on display will be greater than ever in 2013.

One tool that might make attacking the show floor a little easier is this new natural products trends video produced by United Natural Foods.

The fast-moving video features MaryJo Marks, UNFI’s retail training and education manager, who digs into eight big trends that emerged from the distributor’s Q4 2012 sales results. Among the trends explored are hot grains, natural cleaning, crackers and certified body care. Featured brands include Harmless Harvest, Happy Family, Health Valley and Dr. Bronner’s.

Along with good product recommendations, Marks, a longtime natural products expert, offers lots of actionable tips for how retailers can “pick up extra dollars” in this video. Definitely worth a watch before hitting the show floor next week in Anaheim.
