6 new members join CRN

The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the dietary supplement industry’s leading trade association, is pleased to announce the addition of six new members: Voting Members—Aurora Algae, Inc., headquartered in Hayward, Calif.; Nature’s Sources, LLC, headquartered in Niles, Ill.; Reckitt Benckiser Group plc, headquartered in Parsippany, N.J.; Sirio Pharma Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shantou, Guangdong, China; and Watson Inc., headquartered in West Haven, Conn.; and International Member—JJ Health, headquartered in Beijing.  

Aurora Algae is a producer of premium, sustainable algae-based products for the pharmaceutical, nutrition, aquaculture and fuels markets. With nutritious algae extracts including protein and omega-3s, Aurora enables its customers and partners to improve the diversity and sustainability of their product portfolios while addressing consumer demand for natural products.

Nature’s Sources, LLC, is a manufacturer and distributor of digestive enzymes and other dietary supplements. The firm, founded in 1995, is dedicated to enhancing the overall health of its consumers through its nutritional product offerings, education, service and support, as well as its consideration of the environment in its manufacturing and distribution efforts.

Reckitt Benckiser Group plc is a British-based multinational consumer goods and consumer healthcare company with its U.S. headquarters in Parsippany, N.J., In 2012, the firm, which produces some of the world’s leading health, hygiene and home brands, acquired Schiff Nutrition International, Inc., a leading provider of branded vitamins, nutritional supplements and nutrition bars.

Sirio Pharma Co. Ltd. is a leading contract manufacturer in compliance with the worldwide up-to-date GMP standard (certified by TGA’s GMP and NPA c-GMP) for all dietary supplement forms, including softgels, capsules, tablets, powders, nutritional gummies and oral liquids. The firm offers a variety of services, turnkey solutions and customer support.

Watson Inc., founded in 1939, is a developer of quality products and ingredient systems for the food and dietary supplement industries, including specialized micronutrient premixes.
