Ecovia Intelligence is announcing the finalists of the 2019 Sustainable Food Awards. The judging panel (comprised of an organic products firm, international food company, specialist research agency, packaging materials firm and media) has selected the following finalists, listed in alphabetical order:
New Sustainable Product Finalists
This award is given to a new food/beverage product with some important sustainability credentials.

Sustainable Packaging Finalists
This award is given to a new packaging format that has low environmental footprint in terms of design and/or materials.

Sustainable Ingredient Finalists
This award is given to a new ingredient that makes a significant difference in terms of environmental and/or social impact.

Sustainability Pioneer Finalists
The sustainability pioneer award is given to an operator in the food industry that is a leader/pioneer in some aspect of sustainability.

Sustainability Leadership Finalists
This award is given to an operator who leads in various aspects of sustainability. The organization is displaying overall leadership in sustainability rather than mastering only a few areas.

The winner and runner-up in each award category will be announced at the Sustainable Food Awards reception in Amsterdam, Netherlands on June 13. The reception will take place at the Radisson Blu Amsterdam, hosted alongside the European edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit.
