Attendees can expect sessions such as these:

Protein Deep Dive Day live panel discussion: How to make successful, category-winning protein products

Successful product innovation in any food and drink category must begin with a deep understanding of many different parameters, and protein innovation is no different. Who are the target consumers and what are their protein needs? Which protein ingredients resonate most with consumers across product categories? What are consumers’ expectations and perceptions?

In this live session, Roseanna Evans, head of client operations at HRA Global and Mike Hughes, head of research and insight at FMCG Gurus look at how brands can ensure a successful product launch by answering these questions.

Dairy and Dairy Alternatives Deep Dive Day: How can we close the gap in consumer perception between dairy and dairy alternatives?

Dairy alternatives, although still small compared to the dairy category, are growing rapidly. However, at the same time consumer demands and expectations on the quality of these products is also rising. The challenge therefore is how manufacturers can deliver the right sensory experience when reformulating or developing dairy alternative products.

In this expert session, Els de Hoog, Ph.D., senior project manager, food texture, at NIZO will address this complex issue based on the vast dairy knowledge that is available.
