Novozymes of Denmark has signed a definitive agreement to acquire TJ Technologies Inc. (Watertown, S.D.). Terms were not disclosed, but TJ Technologies has annual revenue close to $15 million. Founded in 1978, TJ Technologies provides farmers with biological solutions that enhance plant growth, increase stress tolerance, and improve yields. It is a significant player in the U.S. market for bioyield enhancement products, with a strong position in seed treatment of corn, soy and wheat. Novozymes is a biotech company with a strong focus on enzyme production. Total sales in 2012 were DKK 11,234 million, up 7 percent from 2011.
