Nature's Products acquires Nutri-Health, Sedona Labs

Nature's Products Inc. announced that it has acquired the assets of Nutri-Health Supplements LLC, a subsidiary of Atrium Innovations Inc. Nutri-Health Supplements is a leading nutritional supplements and probiotics distributer and marketer with offices in Cottonwood, Ariz., and West Palm Beach, Fla. With this acquisition, Nature's Products adds to its existing portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands (Iceland Health and Blessed Herbs) a full array of probiotic formulations and digestive enzymes under two trusted brands: Nutri-Health, offered directly to consumers over the Web; and Sedona Labs, available in natural health stores and through health care professionals.

"This is a bold step into the future for Nature's Products, and represents the next phase of growth and transformation for our company," commented Jose Minski, president and CEO of Nature's Products. "We are very excited about this new venture, and the synergies and opportunities that this acquisition will bring our way."

"We believe this is a win-win for both companies," said Tom Callahan, president of Nutri-Health Supplements. "We look forward to building the business with the solid foundation of the existing Nature's Products resources and manufacturing infrastructure."

This acquisition is in keeping with NPI's strategy to expand its expertise and presence in the rapidly growing, direct-to-consumer and natural health channels. As part of the purchase of Nutri-Health and Sedona Labs, Nature's Products acquires Flora Source, Nutri-Health Supplement's flagship Multi-Probiotic product, which is a leading multi-strain probiotic formula on the market today. Also added to Nature's Products portfolio are the Sedona Pro, iFlora Multi-Probiotic, ArthroZyme, Flora Sinus, Memoril, and GlucoProtect 6X products, among others. Synergies between the companies will be leveraged to accelerate growth in Nature's Product's high-performing direct-to-consumer business across multiple natural products categories.
