Since 1999, the main marketing focus of Jimbo’s…Naturally! has been charitable giving and supporting the San Diego community. Over the years, that amount has continued to grow, and in May of this year, Jimbo’s reached the $1 million milestone in charitable contributions to the San Diego community. Jimbo’s understands the importance of supporting various nonprofits, not only because we believe it is the right way to build customer loyalty and awareness of healthier choices, but because it’s the right thing to do.

At Jimbo’s, we do the right thing by being socially responsible and actively involved in our community through such means as supporting our schools, promoting environmental groups and practices, contributing to charities, and educating our customers and community on organic and natural foods.

“One of our fundamental guiding principles from the beginning has been to give back to the communities that support us," Someck said. "We understand that one of the keys to our success is the symbiotic relationship we have with those around us. And truthfully, we would not feel successful if we did not give back. To achieve this milestone brings a great deal of satisfaction in knowing that we are accomplishing one of our main goals. The fact that we have been able to donate over $1 million is an indication of how much support we have received from the San Diego community through the years and we are extremely grateful for that.”

Our community outreach will continue to grow in San Diego as we open our next location in Downtown San Diego-Horton Plaza. Opening is slated for late summer of 2013.
