Door to Door Organics, one of the nation’s leading e-grocers, with one of the largest grocery delivery networks of any e-grocer in the U.S., is expanding into parts of New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, through a partnership with Suburban Organics. Door to Door Organics already has operations based in Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, and Michigan.
The two similarly-minded companies have been working together since 2010, with Door to Door Organics helping Suburban Organics expand their product selection, and improve their behind-the-scenes technology and operations. As of February 1, Suburban Organics will officially be part of the Door to Door Organics family, with a new name, “Door to Door Organics Tri-State,” and a new website.
“Suburban Organics and Door to Door Organics have the same values and the same mission – to bring Good Food to people; that’s food that’s good for your health, your community, and the environment – making this a natural next step for us both,” says Door to Door Organics’ CEO and President Chad Arnold. “We’ll still deliver the highest quality organic produce we can find, at the same low prices – and with the same team operating out of our Pennsylvania warehouse. But now, as Door to Door Organics Tri-State, we’ll be able to offer customers more than 500 organic and natural groceries, and make shopping more convenient, flexible, and fun. We’ll be carrying new items like local milk, eggs, cheese, and grass-fed beef and bison, and good-for-you groceries like yogurt, snacks, nut butters, juice, milk alternatives, soup, cereal, rice, and pasta, with local, bakery-fresh bread and other local artisan goods likely coming soon as well.”
The expanded team is continuing to grow new and existing partnerships with local farmers, to increase Door to Door Organics Tri-State’s offerings of local organic fruits and vegetables.
Door to Door Organics Tri-State’s new website will be easy to navigate and offer helpful product information so that customers can make informed decisions. It will also have a new feature, the “Door to Door Organics Kitchen,” offering more than 1,000 chef-tested recipes, and an easy “Shop by Recipe™” tool, to help customers create delicious meals out of the contents of their boxes, and shop for any additional items they might need.
“Withthe addition of these planning, shopping, and cooking tools, we’re bringing together inspiration, simplicity, and personalization for a great shopping experience, so the folks in the Tri-State region can build a lifestyle around better food choices,” Arnold said.
