Adapting to change is something we are all learning to do in all parts of our lives, and the NBJ Summit team is leaning into this learning as we face the continued impact of COVID-19 on gatherings and events.

After receiving input from the NBJ Summit community and monitoring the still very fluid COVID-19 situation, we have arrived at the difficult decision to cancel this year’s NBJ Summit conference, scheduled for July 27-30 in Carlsbad, California. Ensuring your health and safety and hosting a valuable and productive event for the community are our top priorities, and too much uncertainty remains as to whether events the size of NBJ Summit, or even smaller, would be allowed and deemed safe in California in late July.

As a registered attendee of this year’s event, you will receive a full credit that can be applied toward registration for the 2021 NBJ Summit and/or to the digital sessions we will be hosting in July. You will receive email communication in the next few days with more information regarding the registration credit process.

With this cancellation, our hotel booking provider onPeak has been instructed to not proceed with processing hotel reservations for NBJ Summit 2020. Credit cards submitted to onPeak for hotel reservations will not be charged and no further action is required from any guests at this time. If you booked directly with a hotel or through a third-party agent, please reach out to them.

We recognize the loss that this cancellation brings—and yet, we must adapt and focus on what we can control, which is why we are moving quickly toward a plan that will bring the NBJ Summit community together digitally during the week of July 27 for high-caliber content and special virtual networking with the latest technology platforms.

Your input is important as we finalize plans for our NBJ Summit digital week, and we ask that you will take two minutes to complete this survey to help us ensure we focus on topics that are of the greatest importance to you and your teams right now.

While digital won’t be the same as convening in person, we know we can deliver valuable content, data and insights as well as small-group and one-on-one networking opportunities in an engaging format. We will offer this a way that allows you to register for all our digital sessions or for only those parts that most interest you.

We ask that you lean into digital with us and invite your team members who might not typically be able to participate in the NBJ Summit to join us as well.

The global nutrition and dietary supplement industry has the potential to support human and planetary health in more powerful ways than ever before and usher in a new level of impact, credibility and success for each of our companies and the industry as a whole. This is the time for our industry to be a leader in this opportunity and truly thrive. We will explore how we do this and more when we join together, virtually, in July.

Please take our survey and stay tuned to www.nbjsummit.com for more details and digital event registration in the coming weeks. For any questions regarding registration or housing, please contact [email protected].
