Nutrients company OK'd for medical marijuana

Advanced Nutrients, the world leader in hydroponics nutrients, announced that it is the first hydroponics nutrients company in the world to receive regulatory approval for the medical marijuana plant-specific bloom booster Kushie Kush in the states of Colorado and Washington.

In addition, Advanced Nutrients scientists developed Kushie Kush to help medical marijuana growers around the world increase the potency and value they receive from their medicinal marijuana plants. Advanced Nutrients sought to receive state regulatory approval for this strain specific bloom booster to be used within the medical marijuana community.

Here's how it happened: First, Advanced Nutrients asked the state of Oregon regulators to approve the product in their medical marijuana community, the state of Oregon first approved Kushie Kush for medical marijuana use and then a few weeks later rescinded their approval.

As a result, Advance Nutrients then submitted Kushie Kush to the state of California regulators and it went all the way to Gov. Schwarzenegger's desk and he ended up denying approval due to the same fears as Oregon, losing their federal funding.

Never ones to give up, Advanced Nutrients continued on and finally found approval first with Colorado, and then Washington state.

Now, Advanced Nutrients is the first hydroponics nutrient company to receive approval from any government agency globally for using Kushie Kush in medical marijuana production.
