NEC welcomes new sales director

Jennifer Wilson joins the leadership team as the new sales director at National Enzyme Co. with experience alongside NEC customers as a strategic account manager and a background of 20 years in sales, training and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.

"It's my pleasure to welcome the promotion of Jennifer Wilson to director of sales for NEC," said Charlie Amidon, chief operating officer. "Jennifer has extensive background in sales and the pharmaceutical industry that she will leverage moving forward."

In her former position as strategic account manager at NEC, Jennifer was responsible for managing national and international relationships with high-volume accounts and developing new product concepts.

Jennifer joined NEC with a desire to "see the other side of the coin" in the health and nutritional field. As a leader, Jennifer is excited to share her years of experience to make customers, NEC and the industry more successful.

"Coming from within, there is a level of continuity that comes with this promotion," Wilson said. "I understand and have worked with our customers one-on-one, so I have invaluable experience that will help take our team, our strategies and our customers to an unprecedented level."

Outgoing sales director Demetrius Bledsoe leaves after four years with NEC to be closer to family in St. Louis.

"Demetrius has been an asset to NEC, producing measurable results as part of our executive team," Amidon said. "He will be missed, and we wish him well in all his future ventures."
