SuperNutrition hires vice president of sales

Corinna Bellizzi joins SuperNutrition Inc. as vice president of sales. Her initial responsibilities will be to reinvigorate the company’s presence in the natural channel.  “We have almost doubled in size over the last 18 months and we needed someone with Corinna’s depth and experience to take the reins,” said Kathy Mooney, SuperNutrition CEO. “Our new product pipeline is full, our new redesigns are complete – this was an ideal time to bring in someone with her many years of excellent experience.”

Bellizzi has been with Nordic Naturals, Twinlab and most recently Hugo & Debra Naturals. “This is an opportunity of a lifetime,” said Bellizzi. “SuperNutrition is a pioneer in higher potency multivitamins and has always been first in things like Gluten-free, Non-GMO, and so on.  We are ideally positioned to tap into the growing awareness of total body wellness and the special nutritional needs of the naturally minded boomer generation.”

SuperNutrition co-founder Pat Mooney passed away on March 6, 2013. The board elected Ms. Mooney to her new position as Chief Executive Officer in August of 2013. “Adding Corinna to our team helps us complete the transition and gets us ready for a robust 2014,” said Mooney.
