As it fights falling sales and share price, GNC is looking for a partner to help boost distribution and sales in China, according to unnamed Reuters sources. How much do people spend in each sector of the food economy?

Earnest, a financial services company, looked at data from thousands of loan applicants to understand where they’re spending on meals. Based on the transactions they analyzed, they found that 90 percent of “eating in” dollars are still spent at a brick and mortar grocery store, versus food delivery or meal kit services.
