KSM-66 becomes first non-GMO ashwagandha

KSM-66 Ashwagandha, the highest concentration ashwagandha root extract available on the market, is now non-GMO verified by the Non-GMO Project. KSM-66 passed the careful, independent testing process of the Non-GMO Project and has been verified to contain no genetically engineered food material. Effective immediately, KSM-66 is allowed to bear the Non-GMO Project Verified seal. This makes KSM-66 Ashwagandha the first, and currently the only ashwagandha ingredient to be non-GMO verified.

KSM-66 Ashwagandha is made by Ixoreal Biomed, which specializes in high-quality ashwagandha and has no other products. KSM-66 Ashwagandha was also the first ashwagandha branded ingredient to be certified 100% Organic by USDA.

Mr. Kartikeya Baldwa, director at Ixoreal, said, “The Non-GMO Project Verification and the organic certification emphasize that KSM-66 is produced without synthetic or genetically engineered components, and that KSM-66 comes from a pure and natural process.”

Ixoreal is the only ashwagandha maker that is entirely vertically integrated, with its own farms, manufacturing and distribution. “This allows us to maintain the highest quality control standards among all ashwagandha producers,” Mr. Baldwa said. “We work hard and continually toward making KSM-66 more and more attractive to formulators and consumers. That is the reason why non-GMO verification is an important milestone for us. The market seems to have appreciated our focusing on just one product and making it the world’s best ashwagandha, because KSM-66 recently became the ashwagandha extract with the highest sales volume in the market.”
