Lucky's Market is officially on a roll with the opening of its first chain location in Ohio last week.
Lucky's hails from Boulder, Colo., where until August it remained a single store focused on good food with a local emphasis. Bo Sharon opened his second Lucky's Market location that month in Longmont, Colo., which also sits in Boulder County.
Meanwhile, his partnership (including former executives of Wild Oats and Sunflower Farmers Market) drive to open six stores in Montana, Idaho, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and others within “America’s heartland” over the next 30 months headed east to Columbus, Ohio. Up next: Columbia, Mo., in mid-January.
Below are three stories that look at the new store; the second includes a slideshow tour; and the third emphasizes Sharon's commitment to spreading his love of local through the Lucky's Market chain.
