TMR receives INCI name for ConcenTrace

Trace Minerals Research (TMR), a leading provider of trace mineral based supplements for over 40 years, announces that ConcenTrace® Trace Mineral Drops has been reviewed by the International Nomenclature Committee and assigned an International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient (INCI) name, which uniformly identifies the ingredient and instructs personal care manufacturers how to properly list it on labels.

“Receiving this INCI name for ConcenTrace affords us the opportunity to sell into the cosmetic industry at a larger scale,” said James Crawford, bulk sales manager for TMR. “Before now, well-known cosmetic companies couldn’t use ConcenTrace in their products without an assigned INCI name due to regulations in the industry. Now we have the ability to partner with major cosmetic brands all around the world that are looking for a high quality sea mineral extract to use in their products. What’s even more exciting is that this is virtually a new market for us and we see a good deal of growth potential within this market channel.

ConcenTrace is a concentrated complex of over 72 ionic trace minerals that has been harvested from the pristine waters of Utah’s inland sea, the Great Salt Lake. Once the water is harvested, it goes through a proprietary concentration process called ConcenFlo. During this process, it is constantly tested so it meets our good manufacturing practices (GMP) and generally recognized as safe (GRAS) standards for quality and safety. ConcenTrace is ionic, solar evaporated, GRAS-affirmed, food-grade, Kosher, Halal, and Non-GMO Project Verified. All required testing has been completed for ConcenTrace, including certificates of analysis, flow charts, specification sheets and material safety data sheets.
