Honor the industry's best at Hall of Legends

Celebrate natural products luminaries during the third annual Hall of Legends “green carpet” awards ceremony. The event takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7, in the Anaheim Hilton, Pacific Ballroom D.

This year’s honorees will be revealed during the cocktail gala. The awards ceremony—including words from the awardees—follows pre-event mingling.

New Hope Natural Media launched the Hall of Legends in 2012 to celebrate individuals who have made significant contributions to the development and evolution of the natural products industry.

The first two years’ inductees represent all industry categories, ranging from natural retail to research, science to supplements and personal care to packaged goods.

“This is a celebration of the community we call the natural products industry. Those who we recognize are pioneers who have created the foundation that inspires what we all do,” says Francine Schoenwetter, engagement director.

Last year’s class of 2013:

Doug Greene, founder, New Hope Natural Media

Arran and Ratana Stephens, founders, Nature’s Path

George Siemon, CEO, Organic Valley

Hass Hassan, Alfalfa’s, Greenmont, Madhava

John Christopher, Christopher Herbs, Nature’s Way

Michael McGuffin, American Herbal Products Association (AHPA)

Patricia Bragg, Bragg Live Food Products

Randy Dennin, Capsugel, International Alliance of Dietary Foods Supplement Associations (IADSA)

Sen. Tom Harkin, Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA)
